Certification Project: Canadian CSA Certification
CSA is the abbreviation of the Canadian Standards Association. It was founded in 1919 and is a non-profit organization in Canada dedicated to developing industrial standards. Currently, CSA is Canada's security certification body and one of the world's renowned security certification bodies. It can provide safety certification for all types of products, including machinery, building materials, electrical appliances, computer equipment, office equipment, environmental protection, medical fire safety, sports and entertainment. CSA has provided certification services to thousands of manufacturers worldwide, with hundreds of millions of products bearing the CSA logo sold annually in the North American market.

Required documents for Canadian CSA certification
Canadian CSA certification process
The CSA certification program includes the following four items:
1.1 Product Model Certification
This project is our popular certification program: you only need to provide product samples, and other matters will be handled by us. For product certification, CSA Group will test your products in our laboratory, issue certificates for qualified products, and license your products to be labeled with the corresponding CSA logo thereafter.
1.2 Manufacturer Witness Test Certification (WMTC)
Regarding Manufacturer Witnessed Test Certification (WMTC), your employees can perform all tests in the presence of CSA Group technical representatives, and the test results will be recorded by CSA technical representatives. If the product meets all requirements, CSA Group will issue a certificate of conformity and license your products to be labeled with the corresponding CSA logo thereafter.
1.3 Manufacturer Supervision Testing Certification (SMTC)
Manufacturer Supervised Testing Certification (SMTC) refers to the process of conducting all tests and preparing certification reports by you. CSA Group verifies and confirms your data, conducts sampling inspections (if necessary), and issues a certificate of conformity for qualified products.
Qualifications required for conducting SMTC
Your testing equipment and testing process plan must be reviewed before proceeding with SMTC. After passing the review, CSA Group will continue to review your equipment during the testing period.
1.4 Catalog Project Certification (CPC)
Catalog Project Certification (CPC) is specifically designed to allow you to perform tests on your own device and determine whether your product meets standard requirements. Once you record the test results and submit them to CSA Group, we will issue certificates for qualified products. TQM certification, UL yellow card certification, certification testing
Qualifications required for CPC
To qualify for the CPC project, you need to obtain a qualification certificate issued by CSA Group, which proves that you meet the following conditions:
Having comprehensive knowledge of all relevant product standards and the ability to design, manufacture, and test products in compliance with standards
