According to Resolution No. 007-2009 of the Ecuadorian National Quality Conference, the following products (List of Goods Subject to Control) need to be imported and issued a Certificate of Conformity by an inspection agency with ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation to the importer. The importer will present the CoC to the Ecuadorian accreditation organization OAE for accreditation, and the Ecuadorian standardization organization INEN will issue the final Form INEN 1 Certificate of Recognition to the importer for customs clearance based on the CoC accredited by OAE.
